Breakfast briefing Red Cross report: The longest year: life under local restrictions
We are delighted to invite you to a breakfast briefing to mark the launch of our upcoming report, The longest year: life under local restrictions, Tuesday 9 February 8 - 8:45am.

Our report looks at the impact local restrictions have had on people’s livelihoods, health and wellbeing, and makes the case for targeted emergency financial and emotional support, as well as more accessible, clearer information about tiered restrictions.

As governments across the UK consider a path out of national lockdown, these insights are particularly pertinent.

At the event, you’ll hear from Matthew Killick, UK Director for Crisis Response & Community Resilience at the British Red Cross, Naomi Phillips, Director for Policy, Research and Advocacy at the British Red Cross, and from people with lived experience of struggling and coping under additional lockdowns.
